LavAzza Espresso Point Machine Repair Tutorial:
Broken Floater Device
Hey Everyone and Welcome to our LavAzza Espresso Point Machine Repair Tutorial! Today we will be working on a machine that has a Broken Floater Device.
When the machine does not have a properly functioning floater device in its water tank, the machine is unable to determine whether the water tank is full. The complaint with this machine was that the "Water Indicator Light" would not stop flashing- even when the tank was full of water. This issue is a super easy fix- and repair pieces can be purchased through our online store www.shop.EspressoBella.ca or at our Showroom in Stouffville.
As you can see, we tested the machine by pouring water into the tank, yet the light continued to flash indicating that the tank was empty.
Simply open the top of the Espresso Machine and remove the water tank.
This customer in particular used bottled water in their machine which caused a Calcium Build up in the water tubes. We highly recommend using tap water to avoid this issue.
As you can see in the video, the Floater Device and the cap were separated. These two pieces should always be attached and in the proper position in order for the machine to function properly. It is important that the magnet on the Floater Device is touching the bottom of the Water Tank when placed in its proper position for this magnet indicates to the machine that there is water in the tank.
Once Floater Device is properly attached to the tank, return water tank to the machine and pour water in it once more- your indicator light should stop flashing once tank is full.
